I just read the last 4 or so reviews from other Yelpers, the ones with the 3 or less stars - the secret to those is to click on their names and read their other reviews - You can plainly see that these people are unhappy with most of the places they visit - maybe stay home and don't go out and make other peoples lives at their jobs Miserable - Really "2 coworkers were joking with each other" thats probably why your coworkers despise you ding dong!, "A Hispanic hair cutter that may have had an accent" Say it isn't so, a hispanic with an accent in California "The guy who called my name had a shaved head" NOOOO not a shaved head working at a barber shop - or maybe the wait was a little long after "You got off the bus and walked in without an appointment and left because some patrons were getting buzz cuts!!:
OK REALLY YOU MORONS - GET REAL - SLAP YOURSELF BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE DOES IT FOR YOU!
Floyds is a cool, hip, convenient and fun place to go get a haircut - my grandfather was a barber for over 40 years, my mom was a hairdresser back when Bouffants and tease combs were popular - Today a simple trim on the side, square off in the back and a decent conversation - To see people work together laughing, getting along and camaraderie is something to say about the management and the employee's themselves!
I've been to several Floyds location including the Flagship Snip in Denver and low and behold the same girl that cut my hair there 2 years ago is now in Venice. SO today I rode my bike over, locked it up and walked in -the lady said hello how can I help you , I said "I'm here for a pedicure" because I am a smart ass - without a blink of an eye she looked at me and said, "Great, want a haircut too" GIRL YOU ARE ON THE BALL! She asked my name, wrote it down and said "We'll be with you very soon, it wont be long" it wasn't within 10 minutes while I was watching the game My name got called I stood up went over to the barber shook hands and he said "Hi how are you doing today, I'm Anthony come on over" We went over to his chair and I sat down, because of my bike riding and it was hot I was sweating - Anthony noticed that ans said "Here I've got something to cool ya down", and he put a steaming hot towel on my head, which he said is like a hot shower when you get out you feel cooler - I'd be damned it worked and from there on the whole time was chatting, joking and laughing about just anything that came to mind - the humor and personality of my Barber and from what I saw in the shop was great to see and what an excellent experience! I took Anthony's card because I am going back great cut, neck shave and Price!!!
I know this review sounds like 5 stars I took one away only because I think they need a bike rack for us locals who leave their car at home!
Great Haircut Anthony - Keep the Sunglasses on and the stick in hand!
