Extremely unpleasant experience at Rudy's in Ballard today. Wanted to look good for a date and walked in at 2:05 pm and was told there would be a 15 minute wait, and at worst case an hour. After a long hour, went up and saw 4pm had been written next to my name. This being a 2 hour wait for me I asked what was up and was told by guy at front it was his own Worst worst case scenario and would never happen. I was meeting my girl at 4:45, and really wanted to look sharp, but any later than 4pm and I'd be late. I was getting increasingly frustrated as time wore on and no check in or update from front man. Finally, at 4:10, after thinking the 2 stylists who were wrapping up with other customers would be able to fit me for a quick cut took another customer, and//or went outside for a cigarette, I was done. Almost boiling over with anger at a WASTED afternoon (2 1/4 hrs waiting IN the SHOP), NO haircut, and no consideration from the guy who gave me a ridiculously wrong estimate, I went up and told him I had to leave and would be late for my date. "We were understaffed today" is what I get. I have been a Rudy's customer for years, but never again. Awful customer service.
